WSET Courses

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is an awarding body and registered charity devoted to the development and delivery of qualifications and courses in wines and spirits. Established in 1969 for the UK wine trade, WSET has since grown to become the global industry leader. The 4 certification levels are the path to Master of Wine.

OVERVIEW

Level 2 WSET Course

WSET Level 2 in Wine is ideal for the student who knows a bit about wine, but is seeking a more structured and formal way to organize their understanding and learning.

 

In this comprehensive course, you’ll investigate the world’s major grape varieties and wine styles and deepen your understanding of how these styles relate to one another and how growing conditions and winemaking decisions influence their similarities and differences.

The WSET Level 3 in Wine Course is an advanced-level, in-depth investigation of the world of wine for the serious wine student.

Students will deeply investigate the world’s major wine styles as they develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of environment/site, growing practices, and winemaking decisions on a wine’s style, quality, and price.

The Wine Scholar Guild (WSG) is the premier international provider of specialized wine education, focusing deeply on the history, terroir, and culture of the world's most influential wine regions. Founded in 2005, the organization serves as an advanced supplement to general wine tracks like the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) or Court of Master Sommeliers.
