Unlocking the Secrets of Components and Aromas

Description:
Elevate your wine appreciation journey with our immersive Sensory Class led by SIP Master Wine Educator, Regina "Reggie" Daigneault. Whether you're a curious beginner or an experienced enthusiast looking to refine your palate, this interactive session will help you develop sensory skills and deepen your understanding of the intricate relationship between Components and Aromas in wine. 


What You'll Experience:
Hands-on Structure Analysis: Taste 7-8 varietals from Sauvignon Blanc to Syrah to identify key components –  acid, tannin, alcohol, and sugar – and gain a better understanding of how they interact to shape a wine's character and mouthfeel.
Aroma Identification: Participate in aroma recognition exercises featuring scents commonly found across varietals and blends.  
Sensory Development Training: Learn about techniques to identify and articulate the flavor profiles that distinguish exceptional wines.

This 12 vials aroma kit is meant to provide a way to build your aroma library and link your nose to your neurology of smell.

The kit includes:

  1. 12 vials of aromas

  2. Codes to each aroma

  3. Varietal or method of production in winemaking associated with the aroma

  4. Test strips
