Sensory Evaluation of Aromas

Aromas in wine are sometimes difficult to detect and define. This class allows students to refine their wine tasting techniques and fine-tune their wine analysis skills. Over the course of three hours, wines will be evaluated for their components and the aromas, several exercises for the palate will be explored with acid, tannin, alcohol and sugar as well as an aroma exercise for the neurology of taste and smell. This enables the taster to better pair their wines with food and molecularly match the two for an enhanced experience in wine pairing!

Fee: $49

Friday 4/19, 6-9 p.m.  Room 9208 in the 9000 building
