A Sensory Introduction to Wine: A Precursor to Food and Wine Pairing - $29.00

ZOOM CLASS
This class provides a foundation of understanding in the neurology of taste and smell and builds on a vocabulary of wine terms that explain acidity, tannins, alcohol/sweet, salty and umami as they pertain to wine and food and the bridge to pairing.

The Pacific Northwest Wine Regions - learn about PNW from the wine, geology, geography, weather, history and viticultural differences that this region of the country and world experience based on the location of the vineyards. This wonderful course will provide details on the wines that are produced in the Pacific NW and why they smell, taste and have the complexity that help them last in your cellar.

Willamette Valley Bud Burst

Join us for a unique two-day tour focusing on biodynamic and sustainable wineries and vineyards of the lush Willamette Valley of Oregon. This time of year, buds are bursting and flowers are forming, leading to clusters which we will explore while we're not sipping these makers' delicious wines. Two lunches and a small box of cheeses to pair with wines are included; lodging are transit are up to travelers.

10am to 3pm (lunch break from noon to 1pm).

Exam on Wednesday, July 14, 10am.

Classes to be held at Lady Hill Winery, Willamette Valley, OR. For safety, classes will be held outdoors on the covered patio with heaters available. Masks will be required when 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained. Maximum of 16 students.
